Free Printable Yahtzee Score Sheet (PDF-Ready)

Lost the score pad that came in the box? This page gives you a clean, printer-friendly Yahtzee score sheet with all 13 scoring boxes, the upper-section bonus, Yahtzee bonus checks and room for six games, plus a short refresher on how every box scores. Print it, or skip the pencil and play Yahtzee online instead.

What Is on the Sheet

The printable sheet below follows the layout of the official Hasbro score pad so nobody has to relearn where things go.

• Six upper-section rows (Aces through Sixes) with a Total, Bonus and Upper Total row underneath.
• Seven lower-section rows: Three of a Kind, Four of a Kind, Full House, Small Straight, Large Straight, Yahtzee and Chance.
• A Yahtzee bonus row with three tick boxes per column, worth 100 points each.
• Lower Total, Upper Total and Grand Total rows at the bottom.
• A “How to score” legend column beside the category names, so the sheet doubles as a rules card for new players.
• Six game columns, each with a name line at the top.

The whole thing fits on one Letter or A4 page in portrait orientation, with borders dark enough to survive a cheap inkjet.

How to Print or Save as PDF

1. Click Print this sheet. Only the score sheet is sent to the printer; the rest of the page stays on screen.
2. In the print dialog choose portrait orientation and leave the scale at 100%. The sheet is sized for both Letter and A4 paper.
3. Turn off “headers and footers” if your browser adds the page URL to the margins.
4. To get a PDF instead of paper, change the destination to Save as PDF. The file prints identically later and can be shared with the rest of the table.

Print double-sided to get twelve games per page, or run off a stack and keep it with the dice.

How to Fill In the Sheet

1. Write the player’s name at the top of a column. Each column is one full game for one person.
2. After each turn, fill exactly one box. You get up to three rolls, then the score for your final five dice goes in one empty box. If nothing fits, write a 0 somewhere, never a dash, so nobody mistakes an empty box for an unused one.
3. Total the upper section when all six upper boxes are full. If the total is 63 or more, write 35 in the Bonus row; otherwise write 0.
4. Tick a Yahtzee bonus box each time you roll a second, third or fourth Yahtzee after already scoring 50, and place the dice under the Joker rule described below.
5. After 13 turns add the lower section (including 100 per bonus tick), copy the upper total down, and write the Grand Total. Highest total wins.

Scoring Reminder

The legend column on the sheet carries the short version. Here is the full table used by the online Yahtzee game on Dice.now, which follows the current Hasbro rules.

The Joker rule on paper. When you roll a second Yahtzee, tick a bonus box, then score the dice in the matching upper box if it is open (five 4s go in Fours for 20). If that box is already used, score the roll in any lower box, and it counts as a Full House (25), Small Straight (30) or Large Straight (40) even though the dice are not literally that shape. If every lower box is also full, write a 0 in any empty upper box. If you scratched the Yahtzee box earlier, there is no 100-point bonus, but the placement rules still apply.

Tips for Keeping Score by Hand

• Use pencil. Someone will add the upper section wrong at least once per evening.
• Track bonus pace in the margin. Three of each number is exactly 63, so jot a small plus or minus after each upper score: four 5s is +5, two 3s is −3. If the running figure is at zero or better, you are on pace.
• Check straights before you write. 1-2-3-4-6 is a Small Straight, not a Large one; 2-3-4-5-6 is both, and scores 40.
• Say the box out loud. Once a score is written it stays written. Announcing “Sixes, 18” before the pencil touches paper prevents the classic “I meant Three of a Kind” argument.
• Use Chance late. A pencil player has the same temptation as an online one: dumping a bad first turn into Chance. Keep it as insurance for the last few turns.
• Score a Yahtzee as 50 or 0, never as the dice total. Five 2s belong in Yahtzee for 50, in Twos for 10 or in Three of a Kind for 10, but the Yahtzee box only ever holds 50 or 0.

Using the Sheet for Variants

• Yatzy. Add One Pair and Two Pairs in the margin, score Full House and straights as the dice total, and pay a 50-point bonus at 63. The full list of differences is in our Yahtzee vs Yatzy guide.
• Triple Yahtzee. Use three adjacent columns as the ×1, ×2 and ×3 columns and multiply the totals at the bottom.

• Team play. Two players share a column and alternate turns; the legend column keeps newcomers honest about what each box needs.
